  1. My father got one of these, $12,000 just for the tub! Final costs
$18,000.00! Are you kidding me? His had a ring around the tub, it looked
used. They assured him that it was not used. Then it was a model, how else
could it already have a bathtub ring? Why didn’t he get a disocunt? They
say 1 day install? He says it doesn’t get hot enough and doesn’t stay warm
enough & he was a 50 gallon water heater. So why isn’t the built in inline
heater keeping the water warm? What a waste of money.

  2. Damn Dwayn…that sucks! My mom got her tub from a small company called
independent home and she paid no where near that! That’s just nuts. I like
using her tub when I’m in pain. Its feels soooo good

  4. These companies are ripping seniors off and the handicap as well. My
father-in-law paid sixteen thousand dollars for his from a company out of
    San Rafael,CA

  5. Pat how do you open the door to get in when it’s full of water without
letting all of the water out?

  6. Well that’s interesting. I am looking for a walk in tub and was kinda
impressed that Pat Boone was a spokesperson for this company. Am I correct
that this company has franchises? Perhaps Christine is indeed evil and
mean. I’m curious to hear how this turns out what with the lawyer and
Channel 2 and all. Please keep us posted Thelma. Oh and cheers to you for
    not lying to the customers.

  7. Sounds like you are one of those that are ripping off people.. you sound
like a typical car salesman. What a load of bullcrap you are!!

  9. You don’t, stupid. You go in then fill it up w/ water. Then drain off the
water when done, then get off.

  11. Just think!. All you have to do is step into the tub stripped down to your
birthday suit. Close the door and then wait until the tub is full. When
your done, you have to drain the tub before you can get out, all while your
still in your birthday suit. doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Why not
install a walk in shower with a seat at one end. Makes much more sense.

  12. I have a question if you have a step in tub. It takes a real long time for
the tub to fill up and by the time it fills up, there’s not enough hot
water. How do you deal with this? What should I do in this case?

    Thanks.

    J

  13. It looked like the water was only at the waist level of the man in the tub.
I would’ve liked to see the water be a bit more higher to the chest area
    though.
Looks like the tub was made somewhat too small.

  14. A walk in tub will be a thing of the future as we work towards using less
water but this bath is badly designed. As one poster said “the water was
only at the waist level of the man in the tub” so it needs to be higher, at
least 10″ higher and the length is too long because the door opens in and
there are lots of better ways to hold water tight in a container without
relying on water pressure to keep it closed, Another thing is that these
tubs all have built in pumps, for the spa, built in under the seat and
should it have to be repaired you need to have access to this area
otherwise you would have to rip the unit out away from tiled walls to
access the pump. A maintenance hole would be almost essential. Fix bugs and
I’ll buy one because I think they are the best thing since sliced bread.
